Count the ways lies of the left helped Albo’s Labor win the election

Not in any order – hoping readers can add more examples.
A – China gamed our election through midget Solomons hostility to ScoMo Gov and Labor benefited from this beating it up as “ScoMo Gov lost the Solomons” but now they claim to be more alert to China threat.
China games the 2022 Australian Federal Election
www.warwickhughes.com/blog/?p=6918
B – Dutton was labelled a warmonger for informing us about presence of Chinese spy-ship off Exmouth US/Oz strategic radio base – but now Albo paints himself to NATO as tough on China.
C – Labors December 2021 Powering Australia plan is totally crashed & burnt by 2022 AEMO wholesale electricity price rises of multi-hundreds of percent across the NEM. PA is just a leftist renewables fairy story now but it promised reductions in power bills helping Labor win election. www.alp.org.au/policies/powering-australia
D – Labor attacked ScoMo Gov for not “going further tackling Climate Change” at Glasgow COP26 but now Germany, Austria, UK, Japan are all exposed as backtracking from Glasgow BS statements and increasing coal and gas fired electricity generation to keep their electricity grids alive. So once again Labor positions during election campaign shown now to be untenable – helped bad-mouth ScoMo Gov and helped Albo win the election.
E – The issue of the AEC allowing the Climate 200 TEALS to be classed as Independents instead of making them be classed as the “Climate 200 Party” was a contributor to the ScoMo Gov loss. IMHO there are various other ways the AEC revealed it is left leaning.
Adding up all these examples – was the election stolen by anti-ScoMo Gov Labor lies assisted & promulgated by the dominant GreenLeft media?

All of your points are valid, of course. The AEC in particular is untrustworthy – we easily remember its’ sneaky “loss” of a large block of Senate votes (“lost” for recount after having being counted) in the 2013 election; forcing a re-election for the Senate in WA after the voters knew the initial result was exactly a ploy to prevent Abbott from dealing with a less lefty Senate. Deep Swamp stuff …

In addition to those factors you’ve listed, the MSM is easily the most influential. The large bulk of journos and sub-editors have no interest in Enlightenment values. They enjoy the power of controlling information flows (this appeals to their vanity), and they believe the hoi polloi to be morally lesser and so deserving of lefty discipline, rather than individual choice. They are also scientifically illiterate and mathematically innumerate (ie. they cannot read or write within basic science and outside of primary arithmetic). They are rewarded for this behaviour by being deemed “essential” (a further fillip to vanity).

Morrison’s backflip on “Nett Zero” (combined with his backflips on everything else those whose voted for him wanted) left the dissenting population in vaccuum. He’s just a coward.

I’m sad for the destruction being wrought on the country and for the destruction to come. A big opportunistic power grab during the Covid years by those who lust for power was seen to be successful; scaring the population, then using the police forces as enforcing militia, was seen to work a treat. This is now being repeated in various iterations. No way back now.

  2. In addition to my comments on the MSM, I did mean to add that there is interest in watching how the Aus MSM handles today’s SCOTUS decision on the illegality of the EPA determining that CO2 is a pollutant. This has to go back to US Congress and then the US Senate, says SCOTUS. [A Court applying law, rather than activist feelings … whatever next ?]

The betting amongst my colleagues is that the Aus MSM, for the most part, will just ignore it. It avoids publishing anything it doesn’t like until it can find a spin suitable to its’ lies.

  3. Other over-optimistic Albo promises waved thru by helpfull greenlaft media are
F – The “24 hour nurse in every aged care home” promise looks like BS – where those nurses could be recruited from when NSW Gov is also trying to recruit for their hospital system not to mention other states.
G – The Albo plan for multiple large GP Practices – always looked like an undeliverable pack of lies. Hearing GP spokesman on media it is plain there is no magic fountain of idle GP’s to be tapped.

  4. Wazz:
That “promise” by Labor about more renewables will cripple their chances of re-election. It will lead to higher electricity bills, which will cause higher food bills etc. It could also cause more blackouts. We struggled with an “supply crisis” not so long ago in a time when demand was lower, so how will the system cope in summer? Labor had better hope that “Climate Change” causes cooler summers for the next 3 years.

  5. Although most will hope for somewhat painless outcomes from “Mr. 43%”, I regard that as naive.

No way out. The aim is to reduce consumption, reduce standard of living. Do not expect the population to “rise up in anger”; rather, it will be individual attempts at “I’m all right, Jack”. Already, Victorian public servants have the right to work from home (Dan has said so). This means that the services, food supplies, internet shops etc will be provided by a 2nd class citizenry to the smugly satisfied “essential” groups. Armed police militia will control those irritable 2nd classers.

Worked a treat for the Covid lockdowns.

  6. Another addition to ways China worked at gaming our election in my new blog –
AIMS says GBR corals @ record levels over much of reef

China used some UN org to whine about coral loss on the GBR and our Env Minister Ley rushed to the other hemisphere to “put Australia’s case” – We should have just told China/UN to f… off.

  7. Not in any order – hoping readers can add more examples. My list has expanded to 17 examples.
1 – China gamed our election through promoting/paying for midget Solomons hostility to ScoMo Gov and Labor benefited from this beating it up as “ScoMo Gov lost the Solomons” while claiming bipartisanship whenever they wanted to but now Labor claim to be more alert to China threat.
2 – Dutton was labelled a warmonger for informing us about presence of Chinese spy-ship off Exmouth US/Oz strategic radio base – but now Albo paints himself to NATO as tough on China.
3 – Labors December 2021 Powering Australia plan is totally crashed & burnt by 2022 AEMO wholesale electricity price rises of multi-hundreds of percent across the NEM. PA is just a leftist fairy story now but Labor quoted it nearly 100 times during the election campaign promising reductions in power bills helping Labor win the election.
4 – Labor attacked ScoMo Gov for not “going further tackling Climate Change” at Glasgow COP26 but now Germany, Austria, UK, Japan are all exposed as backtracking from Glasgow BS statements and increasing coal and gas fired electricity generation to keep their electricity grids alive. So once again Labor positions during election campaign shown now to be untenable – helped bad-mouth ScoMo Gov and helped Albo win the election.
5 – The issue of the AEC allowing the Climate 200 TEALS to be classed as Independents instead of making them be classed as the “Climate 200 Party” was a contributor to the ScoMo Gov loss.
6 – The “24 hour nurse in every aged care home” promise looks like BS – where those nurses could be recruited from when NSW Gov is also trying to recruit for their hospital system not to mention other states.
7- The Albo plan for multiple large GP Practices – always looked like an undeliverable pack of lies. Hearing GP spokesman on media it is plain there is no magic fountain of idle GP’s to be tapped.
8 – China used some UN committee to whine about coral loss on the GBR and our Env Minister Ley rushed to the other hemisphere to “put Australia’s case” – We should have just told China/UN to fo.
Now after Fed Election we have the new AIMS report showing “REEF OK” concealed till post election. Clearly another example of how the election was gamed.Parts of Great Barrier Reef See Most Extensive Coral Cover In 36 Years 5Aug22
    e360.yale.edu/digest/great-barrier-reef-coral-cover-2022-record
9 – Now this news about AEC actions is reported by the GreenLeft ALP/ABC – so just imagine what a more centrist account of the available facts would be.‘Stolen’ federal election narratives saw TikTok asked by AEC to remove footage of vote counting 31Aug22
    www.abc.net.au/news/science/2022-08-31/aec-staff-tiktok-federal-election-disinformation/101382796
So AEC does not want staffer conversations public – I BET THEY DON’T. IMHO there are various other ways the AEC reveals is greenleft leaning bias.
10 – The 10th example is the ex MP Andrew Laming case where he is winning big in his legal case against Nine.Former MP Andrew Laming welcomes apology over Nine’s award-winning ‘lewd photo’ story, criticises Scott Morrison’s handling GreenLeft media and pollies pile on attacking Laming and Gov since March 2021 clearly added to Labor Greens plus supportive media gaming the election with what are now proven to be unfounded lies. Disgusting.I hope Laming gets compensated a $Megabucks. But it is all too late now for centrist and right of centre voters who were misinformed & lied to for over a year.Enjoy ABC history of articles on now crashed & burnt GreenLeft/Labor/Albo — Andrew Laming pileon.discover.abc.net.au/index.html?siteTitle=news#/?query=laming&page=1
11 – on my list would be the way the 2021 Australian of the year only had to look sideways at PM Morrison and the GreenLeftALP majority media would hyperventilate and pileon for weeks as though she had just proved the PM to be the greatest mass murderer in the history of history. Variations on this theme attacking the PM or his wife went on all year.
12 – The way ALBO was able to beat up his role as a young staffer with the late Minister Tom Uren in the late 1980’s – who was minister for Local Gov – hardly a job needing some topgun economics whizzz. A more rational media would have ridiculed his claims.
13 – How could I have forgotten the death of The late Senator Kitching – badgered and harassed by her “mean girl” co-Senators – Wong, Kennealy and Gallagher. The GreenLeft media protected Albo and Labor from most of the criticism. Imagine how the media pileon would have run if the roles were reversed and ScoMo was under the hammer!!!!
14 – Greens Senator Lidia Thorpe who says about 18 months ago she had a dalliance with a member of an OMC Gang while she was sitting on a law enforcement committee. This is another example of news about a Labor Albo ally that voters should have been aware over the election but GreenLeft media safely hid it away for 18 months.
15 – The AEC again – this time admitting they were wrong during the Pockock vs Seselja senate race in the ACT – our GreenLeftALP/ABC says “Electoral commission wrongly accused Advance Australia of breaching law during ACT Senate election campaign”.
    www.abc.net.au/news/2022-11-01/conservative-group-wrongly-accused-of-breaching-electoral-law/101599740
Too late now for ex Senator Seselja.
16 – There was a recount in progress due v close result in the seat of Gilmore. This recount was proceeding in the seat (Nowra & Shoalhaven region) and the AEC suddenly moved the recount to Wollongong where it was easier for Labor to dominate the scrutineering. Job done seat delivered to Labor.
17 – Albo was deceptive with his words claiming he supported “boat turnbacks” implying no change to ScoMo Gov border policies at the pre-election debates – now reality is quietly revealed.
