    I am calling probable “bulldust” on this story – I am not saying bird electrocution can not start a fire.
    The Goulburn Post says “…the theory has been widely doubted…”

    My point is this – If birds could cause fires in this way we would have been plagued with fires near powerlines for decades because power lines of all types extend over such vast areas of Australia and birds of all species are so commonplace. Obviously the many fires along powerlines over decades required by this theory have never happened. So in my opinion this is a convenient invention to cover for glaring fact as shown on the fire map above – that the fire started near wind turbines – which of course are sacred to the GreenLeft.
