  1. I thought at the time the leasing of the Darwin Port was a courageous decision, that’s courageous in the Sir Humphrey sense. China doesn’t seem to have done anything in recent times to change the perception that they are preparing to seize control of the region, in fact this latest escalation only serves to confirm what has been going on in the region for some time.
