  1. I think that I will buy it, although I cannot see China wanting to go to war with the USA. Why would they, when Obama et al are trying to destroy american prosperity and might from within.

The Chinese are not only stocking up on oil & food, they are sucking up all the gold they can get their hands on while the shenannigans of the the US treasury & the EU are setting the scene for a major financial re-set.

I am confident I will live to see the Yuan/Remnimbi(?) as the default reserve currency of the world.

They are already at “war” economically & the US & their efforts to re-start their economy are giving China all the advantages.

  3. I find DA’s solar cycle arguments for a mini-ice age unconvincing. But SH sea ice increases are clear evidence of recent cooling at least at those latitudes.

If David is right about a mini-ice age, we may well receive some uninvited Chinese guests.

  4. If DA’s argument was standalone I would tend to agree with Phillip. But there are many others that very much support the concept, Abdussamatov just one example. I’m still a little skeptical.

I guess that the Russians Finns and Norwegians (northern China) would be worst affected by any cooling, and the Russians along with the Chinese more than prepared to take over someone else’s territory to supplement their own food production.

I may yet purchase the book. Am interested in any links posted here.

  5. Ted–you ought to read John Casey’s Cold Sun. Literally a rocket scientist that built our Space Shuttle and a presidential advisor to prior Administrations. Recommended.

  6. I just finished reading Twilight of Abundance yesterday. It’s definitely worth reading what Archibald is predicting and recommending.
