A quite perspicacious person once remarked to me that the power of free-floating guilt was enormous. I suggest that this is an evolved characteristic of homo sapiens – naturally selective as a means of tribal or herd control.
That appears to be the underlying driver to the self-destruction of Western civilisation. There is now too much wealth for us to be comfortable with the guilt it invokes.
When combined with the blind fear induced by C-19 …

I saw a reference to this on SkyNews over weekend. I bet China is busy in their channels to NZ Government to get rid of this nuisance truthteller. And I bet Canterbury Uni would not flex an eyelid in an issue like this without a wink, wink, nod, nod from Government.
