Canada censors historic climate data

So blatant you have to pinch yourself. Delingpole: Environment Canada Airbrushes 100 Years of Inconvenient Climate Data out of History.
There was no need for the Canadians to do this – our BoM could have done an “ACORN” on their data – presto – past cooled.

We are slowly doing the same here but by adjusting.
According to the yearly Climate Summaries issued by the BoM, Australia has had three years where the annual mean temp was below average – 2000, 2001 and 2011.

After ACORN2 adjustments, only 2000 remains below average at -0.04.
    Originally 2000 was -0.2C (now -0.04C), 2001 was -0.09C (now +0.04C), and 2011 was -0.14C (now 0.00C).

The original summaries on their main website are still available but only from 2002 (I wonder why?). You have to search the web for previous years back to around 1996.
All annual means have been adjusted upwards, some by as much as +0.1C.
I noticed that 1914 has been reduced from +0.5C (AWAP) to +0.12C in the recent BoM Timeseries data
Here’s an interesting graph on BoM re ACORN1 which compares raw temps to ACORN1 data. Note the adjustments down prior to 1960 and the upward adjustments after 1990.
ACORN2 corrupts the raw data even more.

I hope that the summaries are not changed but I have taken screen shots for posterity. I should have doe that with the Timeseries data.
