It’s by David Kear, former Director General of New Zealand’s Department of Scientific and Industrial Research – I guess the equivalent of Australia’s CSIRO.
He doesn’t get every detail right, but he knows a lot about the early history of the global warming scare, and he knows enough about climate to know it was always a crock.
His article bears out a point made by Dick Lindzen recently, that at the beginning of the scare, in the 1980s and into the 1990s, the vast majority of senior scientists in the field “seriously questioned the issue”. He gives a list from 6.10 here:
