  1. Really cannot see anything useful here – the Palace Coup is spectacularly successful and cannot be reversed, except perhaps eventually at the ballot box

Lord Waffle HAS won. He need not risk an election before November (and he won’t with the current status quo). His faction will succeed in removing the pre-selection of a goodly portion of conservatives before he calls an election. The ABC/Fairfax MSM blob will fiercely support him and also chide him mercilessly if he strays from leftoid policy

The Stop Him website may serve to amuse the author and it does no harm

… but it is absolutely impotent

  2. The website confirms what we already know about Turnbull – he’s vain, arrogant, smarmy, hypocritical, devious, incompetent, waffling and swallows a lot of Leftist claptrap.

It also reminds us of some features of our fearless leader that we might have forgotten – such as how he uses his wealth to silence and intimidate critics with defamation actions.

So it’s handy to have around as a checklist of Maolcolm’s character flaws. But I am afraid Ian is also right – it’s unlikely to change much.

  3. I am sure Malcolm has some investments in rural business*
but the moleskins/ BIG Hat-No Cattle persona pretty much paints a border on what will always come across as a contrived image.

Kinda like an “upper class”alternative to a spray on suntan.

*via some offshore holding company NOT contributing too much tax to consolidated revenue

  4. Despite most of what Ianl8888 said is correct –
This year we will each have that rare opportunity to mark our ballot papers and in a microscopic way influence the makeup of our next Federal Govt. I read where only ~5% of voters take the trouble to vote below the line. In the case of the NSW senate ballot this can mean numbering 100 candidates correctly in sequence – not for everybody. But House of Reps papers have a candidate list vastly shorter and are not so onerous to vote below the line in those cases where a candidates politics & policies might make it worthwhile for you to make specific choices distinct from what a major party might choose for you.
Below the line votes are the best way to give maximum effect to your exact intentions. I note that the owner of the Stop Malcolm Turnbull website favours Family First as a 1st preference option to the Coalition – then bring your prefs back to Libs or Nats to be sure we do not get another GreenLabor Govt.
Just now I favour the ALA Australian Liberty Alliance but it is early days for them.
