If they can not get the rainfall projections right they will not get the temperature projections right.
Temperature depend on sunshine input (insolation) and cloud cover.
BOM models still have for temperature CO2 concentration which has no short term influence and no significant long term influence (other than on vegetation growth). No one has so far worked out how to include cloud cover or how to predict changes in cloud cover.
