With a wafer thin margin in parliament and $80Bn in state debt to crimp Labor’s traditional high spending style – I can not figure out who Premier Palaszczuk thinks she is kidding by statements such as – “Ms Palaszczuk said reducing the number of cabinet ministers from 19 to 14 would save taxpayers $27 million over the next term.” – $9Mn a year would be lost in Govt petty cash.
