The West lost the plot long ago.
Although to be fair – since the “fall of the Berlin wall” – the ex USSR has suffered defeat after defeat as various bits and pieces of their old Empire opted to get closer to Europe.
So for Vlad to grab some low hanging fruit when opportunity knocked in the Ukraine – is understandable.
Perhaps the Ukraine push has an element of food security to it as well. (If the solar cycle punditsare on the money)
