You have to love the warmists – they take a very marginal result from Victoria which when I last looked makes up 2.95% of the Australian total area. Then roll that over into all manner of warmist statements about this or that part of Australia – or this or that timespan – or this or that temperature metric.

I wonder how much attention Fairfax media gave the fact that in 2011 autumn in the Northern Territory saw a record cool anomaly – the NT making up 17.5% of Australia, not 2.95%. And the record being much more standout than the 2013 Victoria winter record.
The young gushy ABC morning TV weather presenter can hardly hold back with “record warm weather” announcements in between reading the national weather. I’m betting she is being coaxed by “100 metres” Williams and his deputy Sarah Clarke.
