The article is mainly pleading for more research funding – I hope the Govt takes no notice – there is no harm in Antarctic research losing some ground compared to geo-research in Australia which can pay real dividends and is light years more important to us.
Maybe, if they didn’t pollute the science with Green and Warmist advocacy, their pleading might be taken more seriously.
And, if Antarctic sea ice continues to increase, it will become prohibitively expensive to maintain the bases.
Could it perhaps be the ABC that’s losing its increasingly tenuous grip on reality?
